Our Story
Our story begins in 2021, in the heart of Nampur — a village in Maharashtra where farming isn’t just a profession, but a legacy passed through generations. It was here that our founders — Mr. Viany Sawant, Mr. Amol Sawant, and Mr. Jayghosh Sawant — witnessed the raw realities of Indian agriculture.
During the devastating COVID-19 lockdown, a wave of deceit swept across the farming community. Unscrupulous traders sold fake seeds at inflated prices, without any after-sales support. Farmers who toiled day and night were left with failed crops, mounting debts, and shattered hope.
Watching this injustice unfold, the three founders — sons of the soil themselves — made a bold decision: "If we can't trust what's being sold, we’ll grow and supply what we can trust."
That conviction sparked the birth of Jayghosh Agrotech.
Starting with onion seeds, they committed to only one rule: “Only deliver what we would plant in our own farms.” Every batch was lab-tested, every farmer interaction was personal, and every sale came with education and support.
